About Us
G&P Millwork is one of the leading custom millwork shops in the GTA, servicing General Contractors in the office interior sector for over 20 years. Brothers and owners Gerald and Peter Diamond started the business from the ground up. Both Gerald and Peter are cabinet makers to trade, trained in Europe they understand and appreciate the importance of quality. G&P Millwork is also a member in good standing of the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC).
Transformation
Over the years G&P Millwork has transformed from a small shop in a two car garage to a successful business in an eighty thousand square foot facility. G&P Millwork has managed to sustain a competitive pricing structure and produce a quality product on time with a fantastic team of over 50 regularly employed people and an ongoing investment in the latest manufacturing machinery and software.
Relationships
Relationships are the key to G&P Millwork’s success and they have been fortunate to work with some of the foremost General Contracting Companies and Architectural and Design Firms in the GTA. G&P offers a quality that sets the standard for the industry and will always stand behind their product.
Service
In addition to custom millwork manufacturing all in house G&P Millwork is able to manufacture, machine, and factory finish their own doors and frames on site. This has allowed G&P to service General Contractors with all of their architectural needs in a cost and time effective way; from the beginning stage of RFQ’s and CAD Shop Drawings to custom millwork, door and frame manufacturing and finishing, to the final stage of site installation.
In December 2009 G&P received their Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) FSC-C009474 Chain-of-Custody certification from the Rainforest Alliance. G&P Millwork now provides FSC® Certified architectural millwork products to building projects pursuing the Certified Wood Credit through the Canada Green Building Council’s LEED program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
At G&P Millwork we have an ongoing commitment to sustainability and are proud to be FSC® certified by NEPCon. Earning our FSC® Chain of Custody certification guarantees that the wood in all of our FSC® certified products come from well managed forests and other responsible sources.
